We are so excited to release the 2025 dates for our Music Tours After the success of our 2024 Music Tours & the high interest expressed to run more, We have decided to do it all again in 2025
This is a Tour like no other available in Donegal where we share the Beauty & Magic of Donegal & bring it to life with some of the Finest Irish Musicians. We will showcase their music in some of the most scenic and iconic locations around Donegal
We decided that our Music Tours would be an Exclusive and Intimate Music Event so keeping the numbers small & leading to a more Luxury Experience for our guests.
Over 5 magical days, you will experience a truly unique and luxurious experience as Kim and Alistair take you on a guided tour of their favourite places, meet their favourite musicians and stay in one of their favourite 5-star Hotels – Rockhill House
Sunday (Arriving in style)
As we all gather together for the very first time we will take you on a memorable trip to Donegal to the majestic setting of Rock Hill House which will be your musical home for the next 5 days.

We decided that the trip should start at the Emerald Guitar Factory which is the common reason why you are all coming together in Donegal. Kim and Alistair will share their stories and dreams as they show you around their New Guitar Factory, The Emerald Studio and the Emerald Cottage

Tuesday - Sweeping Valleys, Imposing Mountains & Shimmering Lakes
Today we take you to the Poison Glen that lies at the foot of Mount Errigal Mountain. Here in the mystical surrounding of an old church ruins we will fill the walls with Music before traveling onto Dunlewey for Lunch
Crolly Distillery – Here you will get to experience Whiskey making, hear the stories of their distillery rich in history & sample some of the whiskey they have to offer.
Leo’s Tavern – is world famous for its musical heritage
Musical Tastes – Music Flourishes here, it’s where Clannad, Enya & Moya Brennan grew up. In these beautiful surroundings that we are sure inspired some of their music that so many people love throughout the world. So to end the day on a high we are going to treat you to dinner & Music

Wednesday - Wild, Dramatic & Majestic

Assaranca Waterfall is one of Ireland’s top Waterfalls to visit as we make our journey through Glengesh pass on our way to Slieve League
Slieve League are among the highest sea cliffs in Europe & standing there you will feel like you’re on the edge of the world. With its incredible views & the crashing waves below it will be the perfect backdrop for some Music to entertain you all
Thursday - Ancient Forts & Wild Atlantic Views
Fort Dunree, Today we travel back in time as we visit an 18th Century Fortress
Lunch & Music at Nancy’s Bar Famous for its seafood Chowder
Malin Head, Rugged & Wild our most Northerly Point of Mainland with breath-taking Views
Return to Rockhill House for Gala Ball Night & Farewell Dinner
Friday (A sad farewell)
We have already reached the end of the tour, but friendships and memories will last a lifetime. After checkout, we will assist you on your onward journey back home or possibly on to explore more of our wonderful country.

Cancellation Policy
To secure your place you need to pay a €950 security deposit followed by the balance 60 days prior to the trip. If for some unforeseen circumstances you need to cancel your place on the trip we cannot guarantee a full refund however we will endeavour to fill your place with another guest and if the place is successfully filled we will be happy to pass on the full refund to you

Yes there will be lots of opportunities to get involved with the music
Even if you are not a guitarist or music enthusiast you will still have plenty to entertain you with the beautiful scenery, walks on the grounds of Rockhill house, the Spa at Rockhill house and the warm welcome and friendship of the locals and the visitors alike.
Yes we have various room options for solo travelers and couples. We will contact you after your booking to discuss room options which will be allocated on a first booking basis.
Yes you can certainly bring your own guitar with you and we highly encourage that but if you prefer you can borrow a guitar from the Emerald factory for the duration of your stay.
